once again, but cherished
It’s all that I long for
To be held in your strong embrace

Don’t ever judge anyone for their feelings
It’s not your life,
Not your loss, not your gain
Open your soul for their experience

and just marvel at the beauty of life
In all its wondrous facets
Fragile Strength
In breathless nights
I feel the fragile strength of my heart
Your word the power to destroy
To break or make it soar
The power to change its rhythm
To caress or make it ache
I long for every word of you
Even it breaks me wide open
My Storms, My Calms
I’m tired of explaining
tired of the fight
I’ll stay true to me
and learn to love me
accept me for what I am

and all in between
Strong fragile heart
This world is at times too harsh
for my fragile heart
Even when I’m strong
I can still shatter into a million pieces
Give me time to pick them up
tear for tear

In this morning light
I take a deep breath
and start again
Let positivity flow through me
chase away the darkest corners
of the night
and thoughts
Breathe again
and try
carefully
slowly

for all that I am

Like a whirlwind
And left as a storm
