When life’s a turmoil
I need your words to center me
even if I keep smiling for the rest of the world
I want to share my shattered day with you
show you the cracks in my armor
for you to kiss and mend
and hold me until the next day
ever strong from the outside
but ever fragile for you

My Storms, My Calms
I’m tired of explaining
tired of the fight
I’ll stay true to me
and learn to love me
accept me for what I am
my storms
my calms
and all in between
My True Me
Will you ever see
The night sky
And fallen tree
Did you ever see
My true face
Or what you wanted it to be
Will you ever see
What I’ll show you
Or let me be
My true me
Myself
Free
Passionate Connection
Poised over me
I want to read
the passion
of your lust filled eyes
Leaving your soul
open and bare
vulnerable and fierce
To connect on a level
beyond the physical
and deeper
than any word
could describe
Words
Don’t preach what you don’t believe in or what you spread…
Words can start wars or heal. Be careful with their power
Empty and Full
With all this love inside me
I have nowhere to go
Desiring the impossible
Wanting more than I can reach
Empty
Yet so full
