Overflowing
In tender moments
When all is quiet and I’m alone
I sometimes hear my heart crack
Overflowing from all I’m feeling
And empty at the same time
Longing to be filled with all I hunger for
Center me
When life’s a turmoil
I need your words to center me
even if I keep smiling for the rest of the world
I want to share my shattered day with you
show you the cracks in my armor
for you to kiss and mend
and hold me until the next day
ever strong from the outside
but ever fragile for you

In the silence of us
I want to hear your soul
whisper against mine
of now
of forever
of us
Your Heart
Where did you leave your heart
The first time you touched me
And ripped open my soul?
Filled My World
You filled my world
In just those few hours
Made me feel so much more
Than just those touches
Determined
Looking reality in the eye
And deciding
Facing insecurity but determined
To seek for what I need
For filling the empty hole
Inside me
Fragile and Strong
