Strong fragile heart
This world is at times too harsh
for my fragile heart
Even when I’m strong
I can still shatter into a million pieces
Give me time to pick them up
tear for tear
alone
Tired Eyes
Waking up with tired eyes
Longing to see you
Restless hands and trembling lips
To feel the brush of yours
against my fingertips
Empty bones
That need to be held
Becoming whole
In your knowing embrace
My Darkness
I have a darkness inside of me
You might not know how to handle
Even though I know it’s part of me
I battle with it
Deep Breath
In this morning light
I take a deep breath
and start again
Let positivity flow through me
chase away the darkest corners
of the night
and thoughts
Breathe again
and try
carefully
slowly
I Won’t Ever
I won’t ever apologize for being me
for all that I am
for all the choices I made
I do however decide what I show you
How much I will let you in
how much I trust you not to hurt me

against my sensitive soul

In a thousand silent ways
And with every breath I take
I see you smile and understand
Without uttering a single sound
Your eyes showing me

Intricately Amazing
