The strength within me
I want to give to you
To be safe within your arms
In the midst of it all
Be compassionate
No one knows the essence
Of life
Don’t place yourself
Above it
Compassionate
Shrouded mystery
Shrouded in mystery
You have me naked
and vulnerable
Afraid to fall deep
with the glimpses
of the beautiful soul
you show me
I walk the thin line
of love.
Yours
Inadequate
All the words are inadequate
To encompass what you mean to me
Further from me than anyone
You’re the closest to me
I’ve ever felt to anyone
Because you’ve conquered
A part of my heart
That no one else has

Carry my Heart
And when I leave my heart here
will you pick it up
and carry it inside you
Tender and Fragile
My mind is filled
With our moments shared
Tender and fragile
the most precious I have
My Universe
Tender words passing between us
Meaning more to me

Early morning hours
Before any light
Wakes up this world

Before days are started

The Duality in Me

Open and hiding behind walls
Read me between my lines
my defenses and smiles
and uncover all of me
